The Dynamic Rugs Nolita Collection is the perfect rug for todays home.

    History Of Dynamic Rugs

It was started in 1994 as a broker business in containers. In 1997 it was decided to turn this partnership into a full service rug importing company, built to service the independent home furnishings retailers in the United States. Since then the scope of the company has changed with our warehouse now supplying rugs from India, China, Turkey in addition to Romania and Belgium to dealers in USA, Canada, Mexico, and Latin America. We also now provide customized products and programs to service the larger retail chains in North America. Still, the main focus of the company remains the same, and is based on the three principals of service, value, and fashion to our customers.

How To Use An Area Rug

Creative and correct use of an area rug, can enhance your current flooring. Whether you have an impressive and attractive floor that you would like to emphasize and exploit, or a less inspiring floor that you would like to improve; area rugs can be an excellent enhancement.

For a good quality floor, that you wish to emphasize, then a smaller rug should be used. Positioning of the rug is important, it should not become the focal point of your floor surface, instead it should be used to grab the eye, and draw attention to the floor itself. An area rug used in this way should not be ostentatious, keep tones subdued, and patterns very subtle. This is a rug that is intended to highlight and enhance, not domineer and smother. Consider using a rug of the same color as your existing floor but maybe in a lighter tone, or with a tone-on-tone pattern. Keep the rug simple, which means no exotic materials such as sheep skin. And choose a rug with a fairly low profile; you do not want a rug that is raised above the original flooring by a deep weave.

If you wish to disguise a terrible floor, then an area rug is an excellent way to achieve this. Find a rug that is large, and is a natural eye attractor, something colorful and vibrant. When trying to choose the right rug, ask yourself if you would notice it if you walked into a room? Don't go over the top on garishness, it is intended to subdue an otherwise bad floor, not become the central attraction of the entire room.  Do not be afraid to use multiple rugs if your floor space is of an odd shape.

When considering the shape for your area rug; take a look at your room. Is the room square in shape and feel boxy? If so, then avoid a symmetrically rug and opt for a round area rug instead. If your room is angular with strange shaped spaces, then you may find that a symmetrical rug will bring a stronger sense of space to a room and so a rectangular rug is the way to go.

Always bear in mind that a rug is an accessory. An area rug should be an enhancer, unless you actually mean for an exquisite rug to become the focal point of the room. With some styles of decorating this can work tremendously well, but if you are trying to enhance an already striking floor, or hiding a ugly floor, the rug should be used as an accessory to make a understated change within the room.

Using area rugs to make subtle enhancements to your floor and thus to your overall decor is a simple and cost effective way to enrich your room.
